How I Survive Cancer

This is my second posting on Caring for Carcinoid as this is my second bout with a carcinoid/NET. I was daignosed almost in April 2009 and had surgery in August. I had a 6 1/2 hour Whipple surgery and spent 23 days at Stanford Hospital. I'm happy to say that now, 7 months later, I'm doing great. Swimming and daily exercise keep me going and feeling grateful to have "made it" once again.

My Caring Words of Encouragement

I've had 3 bouts of cancer (all different) and I'm just so grateful to be alive. I wish everyone with a cancer diagnosis could have my outcome.
