Caring for Carcinoid Foundation - Survivor Stories
Lorraine Mallon
- Cancer type: Carcinoid
- Diagnosis year: 2005
- Home: Perth, Western Australia - Australia
By being positive, but realistic in my outlook.
By allowing good friends to help, I am an independent soul normally.
These friends will not let me suffer or get down by myself.
I also meditate to remain positive.
I find it important to be kind to myself and pamper me for a change.
By following my doctor and naturopath guides to healthy living and their
"medications".
A little exercise, a little rest, and lots of laughs.
Be positive, be kind to yourself, and above all remember friends care and
want to help - even if its only a chat and tea.
Find a new hobby to take your mind of other things!!
