IRS Form 990The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF) believes all donors have the right to know how their dollars are spent. Donors are investing in our future. In return, we commit to transparency and accountability. We want our donors to know that we are allocating their donations responsibly and wisely to achieve a carcinoid cure as fast as possible. We post our IRS Form 990 on this website every year, even though it is not required by the IRS. What is IRS Form 990?The IRS requires nonprofits to submit IRS Form 990 annually. IRS Form 990, including all attached statements, provides extensive information about a nonprofit's operations. In brief, IRS Form 990 allows donors to evaluate how effectively the nonprofit is performing and how efficiently the nonprofit is spending its donated dollars. For example, you may evaluate whether the nonprofit is spending its donated dollars on administrative expenses. According to Charity Navigator, efficient nonprofits have administrative expenses less than 10% of total revenue. Our administrative expenses are 0% because they are fully covered by our Board of Directors. 100% of donations go to cutting-edge research.
